Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje provides you with various manners of obtaining the necessary information on our subscribers (natural and legal persons) to the fixed telephone network:

  1. by browsing the electronic edition of the directory assistance via this web page, by using the white pages service

  2. by calling the telephone number 188 of the Directory Assistance Department

  3. from the printed editions of the directory assistance which can be bought in Makedonski Telekom's Points of Sales
1. Electronic edition of the Directory Assistance


Makedonski Telekom Service, White Pages, provides searching through the Directory Assitance of Makedonski Telekom. Searching can be made through providing information on the telephone number, address, city, name and surname. The directory contains only the information about residential customersClick Here

2. Telephone number 188 of the Directory Assistance


The newly introduced combination of providing information to the customers (telephone number or name) with an operator and a voice machine, enables the customers have a faster and simplified access to the service.   
The Directory Assistance service is available to the customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What else should you do to obtain the requested information via 188?

After you have dialled 188 and heard the introductory message, follow the voice machine instructions;

  • If you know the name and surname or address of the subscriber and you wish to obtain information on his/her telephone number, press 1 from the digits on your telephone set.  
    After you press 1, you will hear from an operator to whom you need to tell the subscriber’s data (name, surname, name of company, city or address), and you will obtain the requested number from a voice machine.  
    Should you wish to listen to the requested number once again; the voice machine will repeat it by pressing 1 on your telephone set.
    After you obtain the requested number, the system has a possibility of connecting you to the requested number, simply by pressing 2 on your telephone set. This service entitled Directory Assisted Dialling can only be used by subscribers who do not have a ban on making national or local calls. The service usage (the connection) is free of charge, whereas the call performed with the dialled number is charged according to the call type and duration (as if the call were made with automatic dialling). 

  • If you know the telephone number and you wish to obtain information on its holder or their address, press 2 and follow the instructions of the voice machine.
    You need to enter the telephone number, together with the town prefix (02xxxxxxx - 046xxxxxxx), by pressing the digits on your telephone set.
    If you misdial the number (for example you enter less than 9 digits), then the voice machine will tell you to enter it once again.  
    After you enter the number correctly, you will be put through with an operator, who will provide you with the information (name and surname, name of company) of the telephone number holder and, at your request, their address.

With one call towards the 188 number, you may only obtain data on one telephone number.
The call to 188 costs MKD 5 plus 18% VAT, or MKD 5.90 VAT inclusive.
In order to be able to use these advantages, you need to have a tone dialling telephone. Otherwise, the system will repeat the voice machine instructions twice and then an operator will take over to provide you with the requested information.  
 
3. Printed editions of the Directory Assistance


Makedonski Telekom has issued telephone directory of RM in printed form. The issue of Directory comprises data about telephone numbers on fixed telephony as well as the data on their owners, telephone numbers for regional centers in RM, special telephone numbers in RM, list of Diplomatic Offices in RM, information for international numbers and tariff zone.

Makedonski Telekom has issued the new edition of telephone directory of RM 2006 in February 2006 which can be bought in Makedonski Telekom's Points of sales, at the price of 99 den. (VAT included).      

Makedonski Telekom is constantly in line with your wishes and needs and always prepares new surprise-gifts for you. 
Starting from the 15th August 2006, Makedonski Telekom has been conducting an action of presenting Telephone Directories of the Republic of Macedonia to all of those who shall perform one of the following transactions:

  • Signing a contract for a new PSTN,  ISDN or ADSL connection, i.e. migration from  PSTN to ISDN (valid also for extension of  ADSL contracts) in the points of sale of Makedonski Telekom 
  • Paying a telephone bill in the Makedonski Telekom points of sale (all paid bills including the last one) 
  • Buying a telephone set or another type of electronic equipment.
  • Buying pre-paid cards for telephone calls* (pre-paid cards for public pay-phones, Planet card for international telephone calls).

* You can find all pre-paid cards in the points of sale of: Makedonski Telekom, Makedonska Posta, Vero, Alma-M, Makpetrol, Tineks and TOBACCO.
